I am a Rhode Island based portrait, event and fine art
photographer who likes to work with a variety of vintage,
toy and pinhole cameras to produce fine art
photographs with a unique feel in this age of digital
"perfection."
I grew up in the mill town of Lawrence Massachusetts in
the 1970s where I began making photographs at the age
of ten when my mother handed down her old Kodak
Brownie Hawkeye camera to me.
From childhood through adulthood, I have always been
passionate about photography and was almost never
without a camera. In college I served as president of the
photography club and successfully lobbied for expanded
darkroom facilities and the addition of photography to
the curriculum. At this time I first began exhibiting my
work in student shows.
Today I hold a Masters of Business Administration
degree from the University of Rhode Island and reside in
the village of Manville.
I am a member of the Northern Rhode Island Camera
Club, where I hold the office of Education Director, and I
am also a member of the Photographic Society of Rhode
Island. I am active in many local photographic and arts
related events and am always eager to meet other local
photographers.
